As it is custom at the NordAN conferences we are having a special reception event in the evening of the first conference day. In this case - on October 11, Saturday at 20.00.

 

The centerpiece that evening will be a local choir "Sonante".

 

The path of Mixed Choir "Sonante" begun in 1994. In translation from Latin the word 'sonante' means 'melodious' and choir tries to do the best to represent this name with honour. The key of success is love and passion to song, which unites different

people together during rehearsals, concerts,

competitions, excursions, cleanups,

leisure activities, Song celebrations and festivals

abroad. Choir have vast experience in concerts

and contests in Latvia and abroad (Netherlands,

Poland, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Slovakia,

Estonia). This year "Sonante" will participate in

the XIV Latvian Song Festival in Canada, where

our the absolutelly fantastic artistic director

and conductor Ms. Inga Graumane will be chief

conductor.
